This was contained in a statement issued in Lokoja on Sunday by
Yakubu Abubakar, the Registrar of the institution, where he informed
that 19 of the affected students were expelled for various examination
misconduct and 49 others withdrawn for poor academic performance.
The statement revealed further that some students also had their
admission withdrawn for not registering within the stipulated period, as
well as wrong entry requirements.
While also explaining the take over of Professor Mohammed Abdulkadir
as the Vice Chancellor of the institution from Professor Hassan Isah,
whose tenure expired recently, the registrar said the affected students
cut across all the faculties.
